Home of the Crab Bomb

Even if you already know that Jerry's is the "Home of the Crab Bomb", it is our mantra after all, you might still wonder what on earth a Crab Bomb is. Well, we start with the Cadillac of Crab meat, the jumbo lump. Since there are only two lumps per crab, it takes approximately 50 crabs to make a "Bomb" and to make sure all you ever get is the jumbo lump every piece of crab is picked fresh in our kitchen. The fresh-picked lumps get mixed gently with Old Bay, mayonnaise and a few other very special ingredients then formed into a 10 oz ball (approximating the size of a softball). From there, it's popped into a hot, hot oven (500 degrees) and baked for about 15 minutes to golden perfection. Served sizzling-hot in a ramekin, the only picking you'll ever have to do is with a fork, lump by succulent jumbo lump! Delicious! By the way, for those of you with a smaller appetite, we offer the 6 oz "Baby Bomb"; at 60% the size, it still packs 100% of the scrumptiousness of the big bomb.
